Who will be teaching my child?

TLDR: Great communicators who have passed our highly selective requirements. 99.5+ ATAR tutors who scored exceptionally (95+) for English, Mathematics and Economics. Our screening process is rigorous to ensure only the best and smartest communicators can tutor our students. Due to our strict criteria for tutors, our team is smaller than other centres, allowing closer management and higher student outcomes.

How soon will we see an improvement?

TLDR: From the very first lesson. While students will learn new content from the very first lesson, most notice more confident answers with clearer structure within the first few weeks. Our mission is to greatly accelerate and focus the efforts of our students to help them achieve the results they aspire to achieve.

Where are sessions held?

TLDR: 4/6 Mcintosh Street, Chatswood, close to the train station. Sessions are in-person at our cozy centre in Chatswood, Sydney, a few minutes' walk from Chatswood Station. An online option is available on request, please give us a call.

When are lessons held?

TLDR: Throughout the weekend and after school on weekdays. Lessons are held after-school from Monday to Wednesday, and on Weekends. To view open class times, please see the booking form here (our team is currently hard at work coding a public timetable display). If you prefer, please give us a call.

How much does ongoing tutoring cost?

TLDR: A reasonable price to cover the many services we provide. Enrolment is per 10-week term and includes the weekly two-hour class, one-on-one lessons, unlimited marking, course materials, 24/7 support and more! Please see our pricing sheet above, or give us a call. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

What if I can't attend my scheduled lesson?

TLDR: Reschedule, or watch the recorded lesson. You can reschedule a class anytime via the portal or by messaging an admin on our Discord. If you can't attend any classes that week, don't worry as all our lessons are recorded for our students to revisit/catch-up at any time.

TLDR: We believe that we provide unique and genuinely better tutoring than anyone else. Plume's co-founders are three close friends and top ex-students from James Ruse Agricultural High School who are truly passionate about teaching. It is from their first-hand experiences of big, greedy tutoring centres and the messy, disorganised world of private tutoring that Plume was founded.
